Building bridges between Germany & Israel 2021

Are you interested in developing a bilateral project between your school and a school in our project countries? This seminar is the perfect opportunity to make connections with your colleagues from abroad while exploring the Jewish history of Berlin and Hamburg!  

Participants will 

• explore the unique history of Berlin and Hamburg and tour historical sites; 
• meet renowned German journalists and politicians to discuss German Holocaust remembrance culture; 
• develop German-Israeli school projects using Centropa short films and biographies of German-Jewish Holocaust survivors; 
• present their project results in a final online presentation, "The city as a classroom: 20th century European Jewish history and the Holocaust", at the end of 2021.
